Leah Skerry

Managing Partner

As the Managing Partner of Norex, Leah has created, revitalized, and grown online strategies for companies such
as Dalhousie University, Royal LePage, and the Halifax Chamber of Commerce. Prior to Norex, Leah built and
later sold a niche marketing company focused on university student engagement through social media and guerrilla
marketing. Under her leadership and vision, Leah has recruited highly talented individuals from all over the country to
elevate Norex – and Halifax – to national status as Norex continues to create solutions for companies across
Canada in many diverse industries. Leah gives her time to the communication committee of Laing House and Board
of Directors for the Empathy Factory. Leah is also on the Board of Directors for the Trumped Competition, a university
marketing competition she founded which raised over $200,000 for charity to date. Leah earned her Bachelor of
Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University with a focus in design from NSCADU.

Brandon Kolybaba

Founder

As the founder of Norex, Brandon is a leading entrepreneur with over 15 years of Internet industry experience. Focusing on creative technology solutions that leverage the Internet to solve complex business and marketing problems has earned him local and national recognition. Although he has a degree in marketing, he also has experience in IT at several enterprise class Canadian companies including Shell Canada, BMW and CP Hotels. This has given him valuable insight into developing practical solutions for our customers. Brandon’s leadership skills and IT know-how come from a strong academic foundation as well as his practical experience.

Julia Rivard

Consultant

A partner at Norex, Julia comes from a background in marketing and design and is the mastermind behind our creative efforts. A graduate of both NSCADU and Dalhousie University, Julia mixes her experience in communication, business and design to build partnerships with existing and potential clients that have led to many exciting opportunities for Norex. Julia started her professional career as the co-founder of Queen Street Studios and joined forces with Brandon Kolyababa in 2007 to bring a new dynamic to Norex. In her other life, Julia competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, as a member of the Canoe Kayak team. She continues to stay involved in sport at a high level with the Canadian Olympic Committee as Team Services Officer in both Beijing and Vancouver.

Kimberley MacLean

Finance Manager

Originally from Antigonish, Kim is a graduate of CBU with an Accounting Diploma and a Bachelor of Business Administration. After working for a few years in Toronto, Kim decided to move back to the Maritimes with her newly expanded family. She is the Chief Financial Officer for Norex and handles all customer accounts. Kim’s dedication to customer service and exceptional attention to detail makes her a important part of the Norex team. When not in the office she can always be found playing with her son and spending time with close friends.

Justin Bellefontaine

Creative Director

Justin is a college-educated graphic and digital media designer with a diploma from The Centre of Arts and Technology, Halifax Campus. Bringing a whole new dimension to Norex, Justin works directly with a variety of clients to develop specialized design solutions for both web and print. With his clean and professional approach to design, Justin has elevated our business to a new level. In his spare time Justin is an avid guitarist and belongs to a small jam band.
